We start our wildlife adventure from Arusha, which is often referred to as the Safari Capital of the Northern Circuit. Leaving Arusha behind, the first leg of our journey takes us to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world's best wildlife hotspots and home to all of the Big Five which we'll search for during the day. Our next two days are based in Serengeti National Park with several fully guided safaris viewing the incredible array of wildlife. Our routes in the Serengeti will be chosen by the guide on the day of the visit and will be planned according to wildlife movements, the current state of the wildebeest migration and weather conditions. Lake Manyara is where we'll be heading next and whilst the park does have a population of famous tree climbing Lions which we'll keep our eyes peeled for, today is really about the birds which call the park home. Close to 400 bird species have been documented in the park, but the park is best known for its large flocks of flamingos which feed on the edge of the lake during the wet season. We leave Lake Manyara early to make our way to Tarangire National Park which is famous for its elephant population. The tour then comes to an end with a journey back to Arusha If you’re looking to extend your holiday, additional accommodation can be booked in Arusha at the end of the tour.
