Begin in the heart of Europe with a day to wander around the festive delights of the Brussels Christmas Markets. From the Grand Place to the Brussels artists' markets, there’s plenty to see and do in the Belgian capital. Then, moving on to the rather unique Christmas markets of Valkenburg, head into the Municipal caves for festivities underground. With the air turned sweet by the smells of Christmas treats, this is one Christmas holiday you won’t want to miss.

A 4-Star Taste of Europe at Twixmas

Enjoy a short break by coach combining Germany’s Cologne and Monschau, with the Dutch town of Valkenburg, from our base in the delightful Hasselt in Belgium. The tour begins with a full day visit to the German city of Cologne. Set on the River Rhine, the 2000 year old city houses amazing architecture, make sure you pay a visit to the gothic Dom with its famous twin spires. Forget about your Brussel sprouts, join us as we take the Eurostar from London St. Pancras to the Brussels Christmas Markets for a picture perfect festive break. Spend your time at leisure visiting the winter wonderland that is Brussels as it transforms for the Christmas period with illuminations, merry-go-rounds, a big wheel and an ice rink. Why not make your way around the markets dotted about from the Grand Place Grote Markt, to the Marché aux Poissons Vismarkt and later on, relax in the comfort of your 4-star hotel.

Enjoy a festive break in the company of like-minded travellers, as we take you on a spectacular holiday in beautiful Belgium. We begin on Christmas Eve, in the Belgium capital of Brussels. Enjoy the merry atmosphere and visit the local Christmas market for some last minute shopping, or why not take a stroll along the Grand Place and enjoy a festive treat in one of the many café’s or restaurants. On Christmas day, enjoy a leisurely morning and chance to join us on a visit to Mouscron and its magical Christmas Market. Stroll around the various stalls and appreciate the city’s amazing architecture. As the holiday season comes to an end, so does the tour and we finish the festivities in the town of Dinant, famous for its onion-shaped dome of the cathedral.
