New York City, 1933, and Peggy Sawyer, just off the bus from out-of-town hicksville, manages to miss the auditions for the dazzling new Broadway show but, escaping the wandering hands of the juvenile lead, finds comfort and advice over lunch with the chorus girls Lorraine, Phyllis, Gladys and Anytime Annie. Peggy's impromptu dance routine is spotted by the casting director, who decides to take a chance on her after all...
All the stops are pulled out as this classic tale of Broadway's Golden Age comes to London, directed and co-written by veteran Mark Bramble. Bonnie Longford joins the over-50's cast in September and is sure to shine in this 'achingly beautiful revival' featuring classics such as We're In The Money, Lullaby of Broadway, Shuffle Off To Buffalo, Dames, I Only Have Eyes For You and 42nd Street.
The final curtain call for this showstopper is in January - don't miss your chance to catch it before it goes!
