Three nights in Dubrovnik include an Old Town walking tour, a Croatian wine tasting and a visit with a local artist in the village of Gruda for a chat and a silk making demonstration; you'll also visit the Maritime museum in Kotor and spend time in Porto Montenegro. Meet the owners of a local farm house en route to Split where you'll learn about traditional olive oil production - and in the town of Mostar, ancient and modern history converge on a walking tour with a local guide. In Split, visit visit the Mestrovic Gallery to see the works of Croatia's premier modern sculptor and explore the island of Brac. En route to your flight to Zagreb for a two-night stay, take a drive through scenic Krka National Park, sail to Skradin, visit a farm for a taste of local Dalmatian ham and Croatian cultural traditions. Upon arrival in Zagreb you'll have cocktails with a former Minister of Tourism for a discussion about pre- and post-war changes; your visit also includes a walking tour, a market visit and funicular ride. Have lunch in Trakoscan castle - a Tauck Exclusive - before arriving in Ljubljana for a two-night stay; guided exploration includes a castle, gingerbread making and insights about printing and wine making in Bled Castle. Your two-night stay in Istria starts with an exclusive pre-opening visit to Postojna Caves and exclusive insights at the Karlic family truffle farm; olive oil tasting in the countryside; exploration of Rovinj; and a beer pairing dinner in a beer factory. This incredible week ends in Venice where an overnight stay includes a walking tour, a visit to the Doge's Palace and a very special farewell reception and dinner.
