Day 1 Welcome to Cairns
This afternoon, join your Travel Director for a Welcome Reception and dinner overlooking the stunning, waters of the Coral Sea. Dine on awardwinning modern Australian cuisine at the ultimate tropical beachfront restaurant.

Day 2 Daintree & Indigenous Culture
Today, enjoy an exclusive journey to the World Heritage listed Daintree Rainforest. Your Aboriginal guide will share insights into the relationship between the local Kuku Yalanji people and their land. Learn about cultural traditions, bush foods and medicine, and traditional hunting techniques. Enjoy lunch in the quaint Daintree Village.

Day 3 Great Barrier Reef
Discover the magic of the Heritage listed Great Barrier Reef today on a cruise to three secluded outer-reef dive sites, on the Quicksilver Silver Series catamaran. Spectacular coral formations and an underwater world of unique marine creatures await you beneath the turquoise waters. Snorkel through coral gardens or bask in the sun on deck. Enjoy a delicious tropical lunch on board your air-conditioned vessel before returning to Palm Cove.

Day 4 Cairns – Uluru
Today we fly from Cairns to the heart of the Red Centre, Uluru. This afternoon you’re off to the domes of Kata Tjuta where you’ll join your Travel Director for a guided-walk through Walpa Gorge. The large, steep dome-like formations of Kata Tjuta are amazing to walk through and have great cultural significance for the Anangu people. Later this afternoon you will witness a spectacular Uluru sunset. Enjoy nibbles and sparkling wine while you watch Uluru change colour as the sun sets below the horizon.

Day 5 Uluru
Today you get to connect further with Uluru. After breakfast you will have the opportunity to take a walk around part of the base of Uluru and hear timeless stories, see rock art, and visit Mutitjulu Waterhole, an important water source for the Aboriginal people and animals in the area. Then it’s off to the Uluru – Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre for an insight into the history of the local Anangu people. Having lived in and looked after the Uluru and Kata Tjuta region for tens of thousands of years, the Anangu (traditional owners), have a strong connection with this land. You’ll learn about Tjukurpa, the history, knowledge, religion, morality and law of the Aboriginal people and their ancestors. This evening enjoy dining under the sparkling outback sky at the award winning Sounds of Silence dinner.

Day 6 Uluru – Kings Canyon
This morning experience the changing colours and magic of the sunrise over Uluru before heading back to the hotel for breakfast. From here you will travel towards Kings Canyon. Your first stop is Curtin Springs which has been home to the Severin family since 1956 when Peter Severin arrived with his young wife Dawn, their toddler son Ashley and 1,500 head of cattle! Sit down to a BBQ lunch and meet one of the locals as you hear about the Severin family and the logistics of running a million acre cattle property. After lunch the journey continues to Kings Canyon Resort. Later that evening you will enjoy a delicious dinner at Carmichael's Restaurant.

Day 7 Kings Canyon – Alice Springs
Perfect for observing the changing colours of the landscape, today you're off on a sunrise 6km Rim Walk exploration of the spectacular Kings Canyon. As you venture around the rim, highlights include the domed ‘Lost City’, and the luscious ‘Garden of Eden’. If you’d prefer a more relaxed walk you can opt for a walk along the Creek Bed. Afterwards we’re off the beaten track, travelling along the Mereenie Loop Road past Gosses Bluff and then through the West MacDonnell Ranges and then continue to Alice Springs. This evening enjoy a Bush BBQ dinner under the stars.

Day 8 Alice Springs – Sydney
This morning we’ll visit the School of the Air to learn about outback schooling and about the technology used to teach children in these remote areas. You will also visit the Royal Flying Doctor Service to learn about how this organisation is saving lives in the outback. Later you will take your flight to Sydney where you will have a free evening to explore the vibrant city.

Day 9 Sydney – Blue Mountains
Today you’ll explore the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park, a pristine environment extending over a million acres. See the soaring Three Sisters rock formation at Echo Point, and spectacular Bridal Veil Falls. Then, travelling off the well-worn track, you’ll discover secluded lookouts and enjoy peaceful short bushwalks. Journey on this afternoon through spectacular landscapes to your hotel, where there’ll be time to relax before dinner, a delicious meal designed around produce sourced from local Blue Mountains suppliers.

Day 10 Blue Mountains – Hunter Valley
Good food, great wine and beautiful scenery await you today in the renowned Hunter Valley, one of Australia’s major wine regions. Experience exclusive private wine-tastings at boutique vineyards, and sit down to an exceptional lunch before returning to your country retreat for an afternoon at leisure.

Day 11 Hunter Valley – Sydney
Take to stunning Sydney Harbour this afternoon aboard an authentic America’s Cup yacht. You can take the helm, work the grinders or simply sit back and relax as you sail past the architectural marvel of the Sydney Opera House, the Harbour Bridge, the Rocks district and the many secluded coves surrounded by multimillion- dollar waterfront homes. After an unforgettable day, this evening is free for you to dine at your leisure.

Day 12 Sydney Sightseeing
Today, explore the cosmopolitan city of Sydney. Visit the Eastern Suburbs, for a stroll along the coastal walk for magnificent views over the Pacific Ocean. Later, join a VIP guided tour of the iconic Sydney Opera House, followed by a Farewell Dinner at chef Peter Gilmore’s iconic Bennelong Restaurant under the billowing sails of the Opera House.

Day 13 Sydney to Auckland
Say farewell to Australia and welcome to the City of Sails, New Zealand’s invigorating North Island hub and one of the most liveable cities in the world. Spend your day at leisure before joining your Travel Director and fellow companions for a welcome drink and dinner.

Day 14 Auckland Sights
Soak up Auckland’s intoxicating charm this morning as you embark on a city sightseeing tour that begins at the city waterfront and ends in Mission Bay. Admire magnificent views of Waitemata Harbour, Rangitoto and the picturesque Auckland city skyline. Then, travel by ferry to Waiheke Island for a culinary extravaganza of bold reds and sweet olives. Your first stop is Stonyridge Vineyard, where you’ll enjoy a tour and tastings plus a light lunch, over views of the vineyard. Continue your love affair with Waiheke at Casita Miro, savouring delicious Mediterranean flavours. Your final stop is at Mudbrick Vineyard where you’ll enjoy delicate chardonnay paired with spectacular views of the Hauraki Gulf. Your leisurely discovery of New Zealand’s North Island continues as you follow the meandering trail of the Waikato River to the home of Lance and Bridgette O’Sullivan, of New Zealand horse racing fame, for a Local Dining Experience, a traditional country-style lunch at the Red Barn on their beautiful Waikato Farm. Journey to the volatile landscapes of Rotorua, where Maori culture takes centre stage. Visit the Tamaki Maori Village for insights into the local rituals and traditions of this fascinating culture. Embrace their gracious Hongi greeting, experience the heart-pounding wero challenge and enjoy a Highlight Dinner, the delicious flavours of the Hangi cooked in the earth with geothermal steam.

Day 17 Rotorua – Wellington
Come face-to-face with New Zealand’s indigenous creatures within the lush surrounds of Rainbow Springs Nature Park. Encounter the local Maori community at Whakarewarewa Living Village and see New Zealand’s largest geyser before you board your flight to Wellington.

Day 18 Wellington
A foodie extravaganza awaits this morning as you join a local guide to sample the delicious gourmet delights shared over fascinating stories of Welly. Embrace your inner hipster as you explore the charming Victorian architecture and savour the city’s coffee culture, visiting several local gems with an expert to indulge in the city’s specialities. This afternoon, continue to the urban eco-sanctuary of Zealandia, admiring the extraordinary efforts of conservationists who have reintroduced 18 species of native wildlife that were absent from mainland New Zealand for over a century.

Day 19 Wellington – Queenstown
This morning, explore New Zealand’s fascinating culture, nature, heritage and art at Te Papa Museum of New Zealand, joining a guide who will reveal the stories behind the exhibitions. Then it’s time to prime yourselves for a few days of adventure, flying to Queenstown, New Zealand’s adrenalin capital. On arrival, journey to the gold-rush village of Arrowtown. Enjoy an orientation tour of Queenstown, and gaze at the natural splendour in its midst – from the peaks of the Remarkables to beautiful Lake Wakatipu.

Day 20 Queenstown
Journey deep into the heart of Fiordland National Park. From the silence of the ‘Sounds’ to the ancient rainforests, the beauty and vastness will leave you speechless. Your day begins in Manapouri, where you’ll embark on a cruise across the loveliest of all the Fiordland lakes, Lake Manapouri. Meander through epic surrounds, across New Zealand’s most expensive road over Wilmot Pass. Boarding a cruise, take to the waters of Doubtful Sound, keeping your eyes peeled for the diverse species that call this beautiful body of water home.

Day 21 Queenstown Journey Select
You have a full day to indulge your adventurous side, selecting one of the Journey Select sightseeing experiences on offer in Queenstown. Enjoy a guided walk through a native beech forest or embark on a 4WD minibus tour through the scenic gorge of Skippers Canyon. For a more sedate encounter with the adrenalin capital, visit one of the nearby wineries to sample award-winning vintages. Your Travel Director will assist you in booking any of your chosen Journey Select experiences. As your final day ends, spend the evening together enjoying a Farewell Dinner at a local restaurant and toast to shared memories of an epic encounter with New Zealand’s north and south.
