Savannahs & Sands tour

A perfect mix of wildlife and relaxation, this tour combines the amazing wildlife of the Serengeti National Park with the relaxing tropical paradise that is Zanzibar Island, and offers a great introduction to Tanzania. Arriving in Nairobi we head south across the border to Arusha, gateway to the wildlife heart or Tanzania. From here we head out on a three day safari to the Serengeti National Park, making stops at the Ngorongoro crater, home to an unrivalled density or wildlife, and Olduvai Gorge, birth place of man. We also visit Lake Manyara and take the opportunity for plenty of game drives at each location. After our wildlife experience we head towards the Zanzibar and the coast, via the mountain town of Lushoto, where there is a chance to do some walking through some spectacular mountain scenery. We spend the last three days of our tour relaxing on the tropical paradise that is Zanzibar Island. There is plenty to do including historic Stone Town, markets, spice tours, swimming, snorkelling or just a bit of sunbathing. We finish with a transfer back to Dar es Salaam for your flight home.
