Enjoy off-track skiing in the beautiful Norwegian countryside on this tour.
With dreamy views of the Gaustatoppen, said to be the most beautiful mountain in Norway, Kvitavatn Fjellstue is the ideal place for a wintery escape. The main building, designed by Norwegian architect Ragnvald Bing Lorentzen, has two lounges with fireplaces and a large dining room.
We stay in Arne’s House, which was originally built for the Royal Marines. It has shared four-bunk rooms (twin occupancy, single sex, unless your group occupies the whole room) with a wash basin. The shower, sauna, toilets and drying room are also shared.
A small number of stylish twin-bedded rooms with private facilities are available in an adjacent building called Odd Elliassen’s House. The upgrade includes an additional cost.
