Arrive in La Paz, landing in the highest international airport in the world. Meet your guide and transfer to the hotel in vibrant La Paz, the capital of Bolivia. Begin your exploration right away with a fascinating half-day city tour and Valley of the Moon excursion. Pass by bustling street markets, where you can see a number of weird and wonderful local products and visit the colonial part of the city home to the San Francisco Church, the Gold Museum and Murillo Square. Enjoy the breathtaking view from the 'Mirador de Kili Kili' viewpoint and visit the Tiwanaku replica temple. Descend through the newer part of the city until you arrive at the Valley of the Moon, a clay mountain shaped by erosion into a lunar landscape. It's the perfect place to take some memorable photos. Transfer to the airport to take an early hours flight to Uyuni and on arrival transfer to the hotel. Today, enjoy a full-day tour of the Uyuni Salt Flats, an unmissable natural landscape. On the way, stop at the Train Cemetery, where the remains of 20th-century steam trains lay abandoned. Visit Colchani to observe the local salt extraction methods and the oasis of Incahuasi Island, filled with tall cactus plants. Continue the adventure at the pre-Colombian Pucara de Ayque Fort, in the foothills of the Thunupa volcano before enjoying some time on the dazzling salt flats, enjoying the reflections or the sea of white salt, depending on the time of year you visit. Cross into Peru and travel about the eastern side of Lake Titicaca, before arriving at the city of Puno. Transfer to the hotel and overnight stay in Puno.

Visit Uros Island, located in the middle of the lake, where the Islanders are famous for their beautiful clothing, their incredible knits, and textile industry. There are 55 islands in total, with an average of two thousand inhabitants. The people of the floating islands make a living by fishing and hunting, as well as selling handicrafts. Enjoy a traditional lunch. Return to shore, transfer to the hotel, and overnight stay in Puno.

Visit Andahuaylas, a beautiful 17th-century church, featuring an impressive organ decorated with angels and cherubs. Continue on the road and visit the ruins of Racqui, also known as the ´Temple of the God Wiracocha. After lunch, discover La Raya, the highest point on the highway between Cuzco and Puno for amazing views of the landscape. Arrive in Cuzco and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay in Cuzco.

An exciting day at Macchu Picchu awaits you this morning as you set off for the train station to board the Expedition Train to Aguas Calientes, admiring the landscape along the way.
