The contemporary Crowne Plaza Reading East Hotel features a restaurant with a terrace and a piano bar, while the warmly decorated rooms offer satellite TV, tea and coffee-making facilities plus free Wi-Fi. There is also a spa and indoor pool.

Blenheim Palace & Oxford (full day)
Our day begins with a visit to Blenheim Palace, designed on an awe-inspiring scale and set in beautiful parkland landscaped by Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown. As the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, a permanent exhibition commemorates the life of this famous wartime Prime Minister, whilst the magnificent State Rooms reveal a superb collection of tapestries, paintings and furniture.

Afterwards, we visit historic Oxford; the famous seat of learning, known for its magnificent buildings including the colleges of the famous Oxford University. With time to enjoy the city at leisure, take a stroll around college after centuries-old college, full of secluded cloisters, Gothic chapels, and tranquil quadrangles. The Ashmolean, the world’s first public museum, is also well worth a visit.

London with Guided Coach Tour (full day)
This morning we head into London to enjoy a guided coach tour. We meet our guide at the Royal Albert Hall and drive through the historic city streets, finding out more about the capital’s main sights along the way. Cameras at the ready for a stunning selection of instantly recognisable landmarks!

Our tour ends in Covent Garden, celebrated for its cafés, restaurants, and street entertainers. Wander around the boutique shops in the quirky Italian-style arcades before taking some time at leisure for further exploration of the bustling city. From the charming pubs which pepper the historic quarters to leafy parks and river banks, there is so much to see!

Kew Gardens & Royal Windsor (full day)
A final day of excursions takes us first to the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. Exploding with colour and with no less than 50,000 plants, there are a range of different areas to explore including the Arboretum, the peaceful Japanese garden and the remarkable indoor rainforest climbing within the Palm House.

From here we travel to Windsor, where we have time at leisure to enjoy the sights. Situated on the River Thames, this ancient royal town has a rich heritage dating back over 1,000 years with many beautiful buildings and cobbled streets. The town is crowned by stunning Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world and one of the Queen’s official residences.
