Where better to indulge in some pre-Christmas celebrations than the spectacular south coast. With its beachfront chic and iconic tourist attractions such as the Royal Pavilion, Brighton is a lovely setting for our break, perfect to get you in the festive spirit.
The Royal Albion Hotel is a Regency style hotel built in 1826, located in a premier position directly opposite Brighton Pier and the promenade. The hotel is just a short walk away from the Royal Pavilion and close to 'The Lanes', a maze of twisting alleyways crammed with interesting boutiques.
After joining the coach, we make our way to our hotel and check in.
Day 2 – Eastbourne, Beachy Head & the Sussex Heritage Coast
Attracting holidaymakers since Victorian times, Eastbourne is a bustling seaside resort and is our first point of call today. There’ll be time for a wander along the seafront or a browse around the shops. We then enjoy a scenic drive along the Sussex Heritage Coast, stopping to admire the spectacular chalk cliffs at Beachy Head. Later we enjoy a traditional ‘Christmas’ dinner with all the trimmings back at the hotel.
Day 3 – Brighton at leisure
Today we have time at leisure at the hotel to sit back and relax. Alternatively, venture to Brighton’s iconic tourist attractions such as the exotic looking Royal Pavilion, stroll along the famous promenade or head to the bohemian ‘Lanes’ area, which is filled with interesting boutiques and independent shops.
Day 4 – Optional excursion to Arundel (£10pp)
Our optional excursion gives us the opportunity to visit Arundel, one of the most picturesque towns in West Sussex. Nestled around a fairy-tale castle, the streets are chock full of cosy tearooms and curious antique shops. Most of the town dates back to Victorian times, while the castle has been home to the Dukes of Norfolk for centuries.
After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and head for home.
You will have the option to book your own flights independently with the operator.
