Day 1 – Flight to Munich, Germany & embarkation in Engelhartszell, Austria
Fly to Munich in Germany and transfer to the A-ROSA DONNA in Engelhartszell, Austria for the start of our Danube cruise.

Days 2 & 3 – Vienna, Austria
The capital of Austria is a real highlight of our Danube cruise. With its striking Baroque palaces, wealth of museums and galleries, plus the state opera and many theatres, the city enjoys a lively cultural scene all year round. The Viennese are proud of their city – and rightly so!

Days 4 & 5 – Esztergom & Budapest, Hungary
Once the capital of Hungary, Esztergom sits right on the bank of the Danube and can be admired directly from the river. The castle tower and mighty basilica form an amazing sight, rising up from the steep bank of the Danube.

Do you know how many bridges Hungary’s capital of Budapest has? There are seven in total, spanning the river between the neighbourhoods Buda and Pest. The most well-known is probably the Széchenyi Chain Bridge. Take a look at Budapest’s imposing structures as we cruise down the Danube. From the sun deck of the ship, there’s an unobstructed view of Budapest’s famous parliament building – the perfect way to experience this stunning city.

Day 6 – Bratislava, Slovakia
Located on the left bank of the Danube, Bratislava is the youngest capital city in Europe. Throughout the old town, traces of the Austro-Hungarian Empire can be seen. This leisurely city of baroque and rococo, palaces and palisades, art and coffee houses is a perfect place to wander around, marvel at impressive sights, relax and unwind.

Day 7 – Krems & Melk, Austria
We enjoy a real treat for the senses as we experience the famous Wachau Valley between Melk and Krems from the deck of our ship. This fascinating river landscape of rolling hills, vineyards and fortresses is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 8 – Disembarkation in Engelhartszell & flight home from Munich
We arrive back in Engelhartszell and disembark for the transfer back to Munich airport and our flight home.
