Explore Germany’s stunning Bavarian Forest on a winter wonderland escorted tour you won’t forget. The glistening winter scenery, rolling hills and picturesque villages create the perfect backdrop for a magical winter escape. From your base in the Bavarian Forest National Park, we visit the Joska Crystal Adventure World where you will have the opportunity to learn about the wonderful world of crystal and glass – you can even try your hand at the fine art of glass blowing. And, of course, the pièce de résistance, you have the opportunity to visit the magnificent sled dogs at Driesessel and attend an Igloo workshop where you will learn about igloo buildings and the traditions of the Igloo village.
You will stay for four nights at the Vital-und-Wellnesshotel Schürger in Thurmansbang. This family-run hotel is set amidst the beautiful Bavarian Forest National Park. The modern rooms feature a satellite T.V., wi-fi and a balcony or terrace. The hotel’s spa area includes a heated indoor pool, sauna, solarium and Kneipp facilities. Relax in the König-Ludwig-Stub’n restaurant with terrace. There is also a beer garden.
