Our second trip with On the Go Tours. The tour was excellent, with informative and friendly local guides. The accommodation was very good with friendly hosts. The tour group was very welcoming which led to relaxing and enjoyable holiday. The tour guide Jamal was excellent with his knowledge of the country and its people. Jamal was the person who made the trip special by making us laugh and smile everyday.

I have just completed the Best of Morocco trip and like my fellow explorers, I had the most amazing experience. Even though we had a variety of ages and nationalities, we blended together, partly because of our combined love of travelling but also because of our fantastic guide, Hicham Tora. He was very helpful, kind and considerate even when there were little glitches, as there always is in life - without him, our adventure would have been different. The local guides in each of the cities/villages were also very good at their job and they always made it fun. I loved our accommodation - especially in the traditional Riads I was truly amazed at the hospitality and welcome shown to us in all hotels and Riads. I will be recommending this trip and On the Go to all that will listen and hope to travel again as I love the smaller groups.

It was a fascinating and interesting tour. Lhoucine was excellent, full of knowledge and so kind and willing to help us all. The experiences were wonderful with many high points. The negatives were having to return to Marrakech for a night because two people joining in Casablanca were to have a city tour. Although it was in the trip notes, it seemed unnecessary to the rest of us, who could easily have transferred directly to Essaouira. The second negative was the awful riad in Essaouira! There was a nasty smell in the lobby, our room was cramped and dark with no air con (room 22). We couldn't open a window as it opened at waist height and looked into all the other rooms. On the whole, we had a great time and the tour provided us with so many experiences. We were lucky enough to be with a great group of people and it was very jolly. Lhoucine gave us his phone number and we could contact him at any time. He was very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble and his manner gentle, calm and quiet but with a great sense of humour and fun. He also provided fantastic picnics on the picnic lunch days and he and our driver were so efficient in setting up and clearing away. An excellent guide!

This was our third "On the Go" tour and definitely what this company has to offer is always of a high standard . The guides and drivers without exception have been excellent.. On this tour Jamal surpassed both those high standards and exceeded our expectations in the most delightful and unexpected ways.He is a knowledgable and proud Morrocan..He is keen to share his heritage and country. No question is too hard or too trivial to answer. Jamal is a gifted communicator with a wicked sense of humour and he loves both surprising and pleasing his guests. Jamal is also diplomatic when he dealt with the various personalities on the tour. He gave great practical support and overcame language barriers when travellers needed to see Doctors or retrieve cards that had been swallowed by ATMs....even when doing so encroached on his own free time and in one case and using his own car. Jamal gave up that time quietly and with a smile in his face.He even got up at at 4.30 a.m to meet us and make sure we met up with our local guide to take a sunrise balloon ride over Marrakech. Jamal is truely deserving of recognition for the valued contribution he made to our trip.Well done Jamal, you are a legend.

Thank you so much for creating such a fantastic tour. It was absolutely amazing! Morocco is such a beautiful country with so much to see and do and the people are lovely. I still can't believe how much of the country we saw in such a small space of time! I enjoyed every minute of it. Jamal was a fantastic guide and went way beyond the call of duty to provide us with the best experience. Jamal really made the holiday, he joined us for meals out and took us to the most fantastic restaurants. He was great company and the whole group got on really well with him. Jamal is great with people and really went out of his way to make sure everyone was happy and comfortable. He even got up at 4am and met us at our hotel to take a few members of the group to our pickup vehicle for out hot air balloon ride. He was so bright and cheerful even at that time of the morning! Jamal always had a smile on his face and was always so positive. He took one member of our group to hospital and picked her up which I thought was lovely, he is such a caring person. The tour was so much fun and everyday was packed with exciting things to explore and do. I was very impressed with the places that we visited and with the hotels that we stayed in. Most of them were quirky and all had something special about them. The Sahara Desert was amazing, an experience I will never forget! I couldn't have asked for a better tour guide and can't praise Jamal enough, he was excellent!

I've just returned from a fantastic fortnight exploring Morocco. The combination of an excellent group of people, a superb tour guide and a wide variety of experiences really made for an amazing trip. I've never been on an organised tour before, I'm usually someone who arranges my own accommodation and transport and explores with friends or family. Despite feeling slightly nervous before setting off, I am now already looking at your website deciding on my next destination. This tour lived up to the name of 'on-the-go', we saw so much of the country, each place we visited offered a different perspective and its own 'WOW moment' - I would struggle to pick a favourite. Each hotel was unique and well equipped (although there was something special about the beautifully named 'Palais des Princesses' in Marrakech.) Our tour guide, Jemal, worked tirelessly to make the tour memorable and fun. HIs patience, sense of humour, organisational skills and ability to read the needs of our group make him perfect for the job. Please pass on my thanks, he certainly went above and beyond to make our trip special.

I had a great time on the tour. The group of 11 was a good number, not too big unlike some other tour companies. All of the hotels were great, with the exception of the Volubilis in Fes, which was rather disappointing. Aziz was an excellent guide; very knowledgeable and he read the group well, correctly surmising that we didn't want to be off at the crack of dawn. In addition, he is clearly a kind and caring person, helping a couple of people on the tour who were unwell. I would thoroughly recommend him as a guide. The itinerary was perfect - it really gave us a feel for Morocco and I really enjoyed the change of pace at the end with the Essaouira extension. In conclusion, we were very impressed with the tour and definitely intend to use On the Go tours again for another trip.

A wonderful and fascinating tour. Mohamed was a great guide, smart, funny and friendly. He made the tour. Accommodation was fine, although in some places things did not work - ie no hot water, missing light bulbs.

Lahcen was great! Kind, thoughtful and knowledgable. Tour was well planned. Love the food. Would have loved to spend more time on Morocco but limited holiday time. Sahara and the surfing at Taghazout were definitely highlights.

Touring with On The Go Tours

Group tours are their speciality. It's what they do well. They started with one trip to Egypt and their Middle East and North Africa portfolio now includes Jordan, Israel and Morocco. Featuring exotic destinations in Europe like Turkey, Iceland, Croatia & Russia, and the colourful countries of India, Sri Lanka and Nepal in the subcontinent, they're now very much a Southeast Asia specialist too, with Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand proving very popular. Japan was recently added as a group touring destination to complement China in the Far East. And Peru, Costa Rica and Mexico are their top picks in Latin America.

Visiting exotic far flung places across the globe, their group tours, which generally consist of between 16-18 people, strike a balance between well-planned itineraries which include key highlights and spare time to do your own thing as well. They include unique travel experiences and there’s lots of real local interaction too, giving you a true flavour of the countries you visit. They organise everything to make your holiday seamless; your transportation, complimentary airport transfers, sightseeing, guiding and some meals. Your tour will be lead by their expert and passionate tour leaders. Captivating, informative and caring, they will ensure your holiday is fun and hassle-free. And, with international English speaking guests and no upper age limit, their tours make for a really fun, unique and eclectic group mix.
