Discover a unique combination of British and French traditions on this lively holiday which includes opportunities to cruise the coast of Jersey and tour Guernsey's highlights.
Travel to Jersey where you will spend four nights at the 3-star resort-style Merton Hotel (3Q) in St Helier.
After a morning at leisure, enjoy an included visit to La Mare Wine Estate in St Mary to sample local food and drink and enjoy stunning scenery. The working estate offers tours and tastings of hand made wines, spirits, preserves and more, made on site from traditional and modern local recipes.
Today a full-day included excursion takes you by ferry to St Malo in Brittany. Originally a fortified island at the mouth of the Rance River, St Malo is now joined to the French mainland by a large promenade. The historic Citadelle dominates the skyline. After a short walk to the centre you'll have time to explore the cobbled streets packed with shops.
You may like to explore independently today. The Howard Davis Park is adjacent to the hotel, while the beach and centre of St Helier are just 550 yards away.
Take the ferry to Guernsey where you will stay for three nights at the 3-star Les Rocquettes Hotel (3Q), a former country mansion on the outskirts of Guernsey’s capital, St Peter Port.
Visit the tiny island of Sark during a full-day included excursion. A tractor-drawn trailer will take you up the steep incline of Harbour Hill, from where you can discover the natural beauty of this tranquil traffic-free island for yourself. Explore on foot, or you may like to hire a horse and cart (at your own expense).
Today enjoy an optional half-day coach tour around Guernsey. This afternoon you can enjoy the facilities at your hotel or perhaps venture into St Peter Port.
Return to the UK.
