Calling all explorers! Climb aboard our adventure trucks and join us on this 3,200 miles epic journey visiting South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe

Step aboard your overland safari truck for a journey of a lifetime in the company of a small group. 

Travel through South Africa into Namibia, home of famous Fish River Canyon and the Sossusvlei dunes. Head through Damaraland with its petrified forest and the UNESCO World Heritage site of Twyfelfontein rock engravings and then sit back and keep your binoculars at the ready as you enjoy two game drives in mighty Etosha National Park, keeping an eye out for the endangered black rhino. 

Camp African-style after drifting through the reeds of the Okavango Delta to your bush camp, and still the adventure continues, until you finally arrive at awe-inspiring Victoria Falls.

Day 1 UK-Cape Town

After taking Saga's included UK door-to-door travel service to the airport, depart on your overnight flight to Cape Town.

Day 2 Cape Town

Stay two nights at the locally rated 4-star SunSquare Cape Town Gardens, close to Table Mountain. D.

Day 3 Cape Town

After breakfast set off for a full-day sightseeing tour of Cape Town. B, D.

Day 4 Cladwilliam

En route to Clanwilliam, one of South Africa's oldest towns, tour the San Education and Culture Centre and have lunch. Stay at the locally rated 3-star Piekenierskloof Resort. B,L,D.

Day 5 Orange River

Travel through Namaqua and the Richtersveld desert to Namibia. Stay at the locally rated 3-star Norotshama Lodge beside the Orange River, which forms the border between Namibia and South Africa. B,D.

Day 6 Fish River Canyon

Visit Ai-Ais hot springs en route to Fish River Canyon, with some time to explore, before continuing to the locally rated 3-star Canyon Village to stay overnight. B,D.

Day 7 Namib-Naukluft National Park

An eight-hour drive takes you to Namib-Naukluft National Park, visiting the desert settlement of Sesriem en route. Stay two nights at the locally rated 3-star Desert Quiver Camp. B,D.

Day 8 Namib-Naukluft National Park

A guided walk of Deadvlei reveals the white clay pan, ancient tree 'skeletons' and the salt pan of Sossusvlei. Visit some of the highest sand dunes in the world. B, D.

Day 9 Swakopmund

Drive towards the coast, through Namib-Naukluft Park. Stay two nights at the locally rated 3-star Zum Kaiser Hotel in Swakopmund. B,D.

Day 10 Swakopmund

At leisure. Perhaps join an optional dolphin cruise. B, D.

Day 11 Khorixas

Head for Damaraland and the old capital of Khorixas. Spend two nights at the locally rated 3-star Damara Mopane Lodge. B,D.

Day 12 Khorixas

Look forward to enjoying today at leisure. (Please note subject to road conditions it may be possible to visit the Petrified Forest, UNESCO-listed Twyfelfontein rock engravings or Peet Alberts Koppie rock engravings, 'Burnt Mountain' and the 'Organ Pipes' – your tour manager will advise at the time.) Day 13 Etosha

Head for Etosha National Park, famous for its 130-kilometre-long salt pan. Enjoy a game drive and stay two nights at the locally rated 3-star Etosha Village. B,D.

Day 14 Etosha

Enjoy a full-day game drive in Etosha National Park, home to the endangered black rhinoceros. B, D.

Day 15 Windhoek

A long drive takes you to Windhoek, Namibia's capital. Stay overnight at the locally rated 3-star Safari Court Hotel. B,D.

Day 16 Ghanzi

Travel to Ghanzi, the 'capital of the Kalahari' and stay overnight at the locally rated 3-star Tautona Lodge. B,D.

Day 17 Okavango Delta

Perhaps join an optional bushman walk before travelling to Maun then on to the mokoro station where you travel by dugout canoe or 'mokoro' through the Okavango Delta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Spend two nights at a mobile bush camp. Afternoon game walk. B,L,D.

Day 18 Okavango Delta

Today, explore on game walks or by mokoro and learn more about the wildlife found here. Relax tonight with an African cooking lesson! B, L, D.

Day 19 Maun

After breakfast, leave your camp by mokoro and return to Maun for a relaxing day at the locally rated 3-star Cresta Rileys Hotel where you will stay overnight. B,D

Day 20 Nata

Leave Maun and continue to Nata in central Botswana to stay overnight at the locally rated 3-star Nata Lodge or the locally rated 3-star Pelican Lodge. Visit the Makgadikgadi Pan – one of the largest salt pans in the world – and time permitting, the Nata Sanctuary conservation project. B,D.

Day 21 Kasane

Travel to Kasane and stay for two nights at the locally rated 4-star Cresta Mowana Lodge, on the banks of the Chobe River. B,D.

Day 22 Kasane

Look out for elephants on an included game drive in Chobe National Park in the morning and step aboard for an afternoon game cruise on the river. B,D.

Day 23 Victoria Falls

Perhaps join an optional early morning game drive before setting off for Victoria Falls. Visit the Falls on a guided tour and spend two nights at the locally rated 4-star Cresta Sprayview Hotel. B,D.

Day 24 Victoria Falls

Take time out today to relax or explore the town. B, D.

Days 25-26 Victoria Falls-UK

Travel to the airport for your overnight return flight to the UK, arriving the following morning for your included door-to-door travel service home. B.
