Enjoy a fantastic all inclusive break in charming Oberndorf. Breath-taking mountain peaks and lush green valleys, combined with wonderful hospitality, make this an ideal gateway from which to discover the spectacular Tyrol, as well as the beautiful cities of Salzburg and Innsbruck. The inclusive package at the Hotel Neuwirt includes:

Half Day: Kitzbuhl and St Johann

Enjoy a half day tour of two interesting towns today, as we take in Kitzbuhl and St Johann. Kitzbuhl is a charming medieval town, known for its pretty town centre and colourful houses. We then continue to St Johann, with its beautiful baroque church and glorious surrounding scenery. 

Full Day: Pillersee Valley

Our wonderful trip today takes in more mountains, lake and valleys, as we travel to the Pillersee Valley for chance to enjoy the surrounding scenery of the Kitzbuhl Alps, for which Austria is famous. We will also have time to call at the lovely town of Fieberbrunn.

Full Day: Rattenberg and Achensee

Join us as we take a scenic drive today, taking in the splendid landscapes around the wonderful Tyrol region. We call at the charming town of Rattenberg, famous for its glass blowing heritage, which is evident in the colourful shop windows along the high street. We continue to the shores of Lake Achensee, the largest lake in the region, to relax and enjoy the views.

Drive to Lake Mondsee

From Salzburg, why not join our optional scenic drive to enjoy the scenery around the beautiful Salzkammergut region, as we drive to the shores of tranquil Lake Mondsee. This wonderful area is a stunning part of Austria and known as the 'Austrian Lake District'.

Salzburg Guided City Tour

The city of Salzburg is known for its splendid architecture, much of which is in the extraordinary baroque style. It’s also known for its use in the ‘Sound of Music’ with the grand views seen in the film visible in real life in the city. We’ll take a guided city tour to uncover Salzburg’s history and to see the sights in this captivating city.

Innsbruck Guided Walking Tour

To learn more about Innsbruck, and to take in even more of the splendid sights, we’ll ahave the choice to join an optional guided walking tour of the city. This will give us greater insight into Innsbruck’s history, and will allow us to learn more about the city's heritage. One of the highlights will be seeing the famous 'Golden Roof' and surrounding buildings.

Full Day: Salzburg (Included)

The city of Salzburg makes for an excellent excursion, the city famous for being home to the Sound of Music. Enjoy the old town with its impressive fortress and cathedral, take time out to visit the house where Mozart was born or relax in the Mirabell Gardens.

There are numerous architectural styles to be found in Salzburg, including Romanesque, gothic, renaissance, baroque and many more modern styles. We’ll be able to admire this architecture throughout our visit, as well as exploring the city itself to see its many attractions.

Full Day: Innsbruck (Included)

A charming city and the capital of the Tyrol, Innsbruck is surrounded by the high Alps and is a fantastic place to visit. It has plenty of charm thanks to its impressive architecture, including the splendid Golden Roof landmark, which dates from 1500 and was built for Emperor Maximilian I when he married Bianca Maria Sforza. 

Alongside this, there are also a wide choice of shops and restaurants in the quaint Maria-Theresien Strasse, and other attractions include the Tyrolean State Museum, Innsbruck Cathedral, and much more.

Day 1: UK to Germany

We’ll make our way from the UK to Germany, via Calais, and will spend the night at a comfortable hotel. 

Day 2: Germany to Oberndorf

In the morning, we’ll continue our journey to Oberndorf, where we’ll stay at the Hotel Neuwirt for the next six nights. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Days 3 to 7: Oberndorf

We enjoy a wonderful all inclusive break, visiting Innsbruck, Kitzbuhl and St Johann, as well as taking in the stunning city of Salzburg. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) 

Day 8: Oberndorf to Germany

We say goodbye to Oberndorf today, as we return to Germany and stay at an overnight hotel. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 9: Germany to UK

We’ll return to the UK today, travelling via Calais and then continuing home. (Breakfast)
