Day 1: Embark Southampton

Transfer by coach to the city of Southampton where you’ll board the ship and have time to settle into your cabin before enjoying the first meal of your holiday after we set sail.

Day 2 to 4: At Sea

We spend the next three days at sea. Enjoy the superb facilities onboard, relax in the sun and indulge in some phenomenal food and drink as we make our way to Andalucia.

Day 5: Malaga, Spain

Our first port-of-call is Malaga, the Costa del Sol’s largest city. As well as its beautiful historic centre and its association with Pablo Picasso, who was born here, Malaga is known for beautiful beaches, great hiking opportunities, art and architecture and superb shopping. Be sure to not miss great fish and seafood at the dozens of beachside restaurants.

Day 6: Gibraltar

One of the most recognisable sea front cliff tops, the 426m-high Rock of Gibraltar welcomes our arrival into the British Overseas Territory. Fortifications on The Rock include a 14th-century Moorish Castle and the 18th century Great Siege Tunnels. The place has been resolutely British for nearly 300 years, with typically British sights such as red phone boxes and helmeted policemen.

Day 7 and 8: Seville, Spain

We travel inland to the wonderful city of Seville, with so many Moorish buildings and a culture influenced by the city’s time under the rule of the Moors. Enjoy the city’s rich history, famous flamenco and delicious tapas. The city centre is home to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites and significant landmarks include the Moorish-Renaissance Alcázar Palace complex, the 18th century Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza bullring and colossal Gothic Seville Cathedral, site of Christopher Columbus’s tomb. We stay overnight here on day 7 and will have time to continue exploring on day 8 before returning to the ship.

Day 9: Cadiz, Spain

Cadiz is one of Europe's most ancient cities, characterised by palm trees and weathered old buildings. The Old Town features huge stone walls and is home to the beautifully crafted 18th century Cádiz Cathedral. Enjoy a bite to eat in a tapas bar serving delicious traditional cuisine and local seafood.

Day 10: Lisbon, Portugal

Portugal’s capital is a city that has seen a massive revival in recent years, take an optional excursion to discover the city on a guided tour. Included is a sampling of the local delicacy, Pasteis de Belem before discovering the city’s oldest districts of Alfama and Mouraria.

Day 11 and 12: At Sea

Spend a last couple of days at sea relaxing and unwinding as we make our way back to Southampton.

Day 13: Disembark Southampton

After breakfast on board the ship, disembark before making your way home.
