Our Coast and Country Breaks bring you stunning views, great facilities, delectable food and excellent service - plus fantastic added extras. On this trip we will be discovering beautiful Pitlochry, on the edge of the magnificent Cairngorms with a chance to visit the city of Perth and visit beautiful Blair Castle and Glenturret Distillery.

The hotel is a short walk from the town of Pitlochry, in town there are a number of distilleries where you can enjoy some of the finest local tipples including world famous Edradour Distillery. There are also a number of fantastic walking trails in the area taking in some of the many parks that are within easy reach of town.

Going a little further afield you can enjoy the stunning mountains of the Cairngorms National Park and the amazing lochs and peaks of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. There are a number of fascinating Scottish cities within easy reach of Pitlochry, including Perth, Dundee, Stirling, Glasgow and Edinburgh, all of which have fascinating cultural and historic sites to behold.

There is plenty to keep you entertained in the hotel. Built in the style of a traditional Scottish hunting lodge, the hotel has two stylish lounges and a fantastic restaurant where you can enjoy delicious breakfast and evening meals. A highlight is undoubtedly the leisure club with an indoor pool, gym sauna and Jacuzzi, perfect for getting the last of your energy out and winding down after a long day exploring the fantastic Scottish countryside and cities.

Day 1: Home to Pitlochry

Leaving this morning you’ll travel to Pitlochry by luxury coach. All of our coaches feature onboard Wi-Fi, our Roadshow entertainment system and more spacious legroom than many short-haul airlines. After check-in at the Pitlochry Hydro Hotel and time to settle into your room, come down to the hotel’s restaurant for a delicious three-course meal. (Dinner)

Days 2 to 4: In and around Pitlochry

Over the three days we have in Pitlochry we will be providing two included excursions. One visiting the Glenturret Distillery, enjoying a tour and tasting before calling at the ‘Fair City‘ of Perth, Scotland’s former capital. We will also visit beautiful Blair Castle, the ancient seat of the Dukes and Earls of Atholl and set in the heart of the magnificent Highland Perthshire scenery. The other day is free for you to enjoy at your leisure. One of the quirkier sights in Pitlochry is the fish ladder, built with the dam on the River Tummel to allow Salmon to continue to swim upstream. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 5: Pitlochry to Home

Time to say goodbye today, after a delicious cooked breakfast at the hotel you’ll check out and board your luxury coach for the journey home. (Breakfast)
