Full Day Coniston and Windermere Lake Cruise (Included)

Full day excursion visiting Coniston, in the shadow of the Old Man of Coniston which rises dramatically over the historic village. Here we take to the waters aboard the elegant, coal-fired steam yacht which provides a wonderful, nostalgic sailing experience. We continue on to Lakeside, where we board Windermere Cruises and sail to the pretty village of Bowness on the shores of Lake Windermere.

Full Day Keswick (Included)

Full day travelling via the Kirkstone Pass to enjoy a cruise on beautiful Ullswater, the second largest lake in the Lake District. Magnificently set amid the splendour of some of the finest fells in Lakeland - it is easy to see why it is regarded by many as the most beautiful lake in England. We continue on to enjoy some free time in Keswick, on the shores of Derwentwater.


Windermere Hotel (primary)

The Windermere is an iconic hotel with views over the town and lake Windermere. It is the perfect place from which to explore the lakes and many of the region’s most stunning walks can be started nearby.

Windermere is a thriving lakeside town with a number of attractions including The World of Beatrix Potter. Whatsmore, the streets are lined with local shops, bustling cafes and stylish restaurants for you to enjoy..

Going further into the Lake District national park you can discover one of the prettiest little villages, Grasmere set in a valley next to the lake. Or visit Ambleside at the end of Lake Windermere, which is said to have the most pubs per person of the population than any village in the country.

Staying in the Windermere Hotel you can enjoy fantastic and varied menus in the restaurant with breakfast and evening meals available. Then in the evening why not have a nightcap in the hotel’s brand new Orrest Head Lodge Bar.

Day 1: Home to Windermere
Today we travel by luxury coach to Windermere . Onboard why not try the complimentary Wi-Fi and Roadshow, our onboard entertainment system. After check-in at the Windermere Hotel you’ll enjoy a delicious three course evening meal. (Dinner)

Days 2 to 4: Windermere
We will spend three fantastic days in the magnificent Lake District with two included excursions to discover to of the parks most beautiful lakes from the water.

One cruise takes in the length of Windermere, travelling from its southern tip to Ambleside in the north, along the length of England's largest lake. After disembarking we will enjoy a tasty afternoon tea.

Our other cruise sees us travel through the Kirkstone Pass, to Ullswater, regarded by many as the most beautiful lake in the Lake District. Following a cruise on the lake we will return via the quaint town of Keswick, with its pretty market stalls and lively cafes and restaurants.

In free time you can explore the towns of Bowness and Windermere, with plenty of attractions to enjoy and a number of great places to sit and simply let the serenity of the lakes wash over you. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 5: Windermere to Home
Time to say goodbye today, after a delicious cooked breakfast at the hotel you’ll check out and board your luxury coach for the journey home. (Breakfast)
