Dreamers, visionaries, and unsung heroes shaped the preservation of three great national parks of the American West – Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon and Zion – so all who came after would experience their magnificence and relish the moment...  You’ll start “climbing” it at the incredible Grand Canyon... stay on it through the Painted Desert... into Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, with Lake Powell and magnificent natural arches like Rainbow Bridge in the Navajo Nation... past the Vermillion, White, Grey and Pink Cliffs... on to the pinnacles and hoodoos of Bryce Canyon... and right into the cliffs and valleys of Zion National Park. “It” is the Grand Staircase of the Escalante – a vast, unbroken expanse of colorful sedimentary rock layers that took nature over 200 million years to create, and envisioned by a 19th-century geologist as a series of gigantic “steps” stretching across the Southwest. And all these wonders are part of it...

5* America's Canyonlands
The trip was fabulous! The itinerary was very full, and we saw a sampling of many wonderful sights of Sedona, the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Monument Valley, Bryce Canyon, Zion Canyon. At either end we had a little time in Phoenix and Las Vegas. Tauck took care of every detail - the only thing we had to do was to sit back and enjoy it. Seeing the magnificent natural vistas: looking down into the massive Grand and Bryce Canyons; flying into Monument Valley, driving through the expansive Navajo reservation, walking through Zion canyon.

5* American Canyonlands
We have a beautiful country and Tauck made the journey easy and wonderful by taking care of the driving, hotel and luggage duties freeing us to just enjoy. Our tour director was extremely knowledgeable relative to geology, history of the parks and clearly gave us advanced itinerary each day. Had leisure time for hiking and enjoying the ambiance. Going to the rim at Bryce Canyon and seeing the hoodoos, the color of rock formations against the green trees and snow covered mountains in the distance.

4* Canyonlands tour May, 2015
We expected a letdown after our wonderful Grand Canadian Rockies trip last year, but Tauck's America's Canyonlands did not disappoint. Tour director and driver managed the trip in a friendly, efficient way that allowed us to keep our focus totally on the beautiful surroundings. We were happy with the itinerary. A job well done. The entire trip was wonderful but if we had to choose one memorable moment it would be our hike along the Virgin River at Zion National Park.

4* Unexpected Beauty
We expected to love the Grand Canyon and Bryce and Zion National Parks and we did. But we were not expecting the Lake Powell area to be as incredible as it was. All in all it was an excellent tour. Our guide was wonderful and I would recommend this tour highly. Flight over Lake Powell area.

5* Canyonlands
Our trip was wonderful. We met so many lovely people. The three canyons were all beautiful in there own right. Nature is glorious. The accommodations were very nice also. The food delicious. Bryce Canyon was a complete shock to me. It was so beautiful. There are no words to describe what I experienced when I stood on the rim and looked over the Canyon. I was in awe of this sight..

4* American Canyonlands Surprise
A lot of fun. We met excellent people, even the animals were friendly. We loved Zion Canyon. Our rafting trip was the greatest. The views at the Grand Canyon and Bryce were magnificent. I wish the trip was longer. Waking up in Zion Canyon, the view was breath taking.

5* Wonderful Canyonlands
This was our fifth experience with Tauck, and it will not be our last because it was absolutely the best. Our tour guide can be described in one word: "Flawless". We experienced the American Canyons in a way that no one could plan it by one's self. From start to finish we enjoyed the finest hotels and accomodations. Highly recommended. Our bus driver took us everywhere. While everything was memorable, the private flight from the Lake Powell area enroute to Monument Valley stands out the most. Seeing the geographical area from an airplane was amazing and quite humbling.

5* A fantabulous never to be forgotten trip. YEA!!!!
Our America's Canyonland trip was all that we envisioned and more. The sights, the camaraderie and friendliness of the people with whom we traveled, the knowledge of our director and our driver all helped make it a most memorable experience. Excellent food and lodging; wonderful things to see and do at each of the 3 canyon stops. LOVED IT Sunrise and sunset at Grand Canyon and sunrise at Bryce Canyon. In all honesty everything we saw and did was memorable.

4* Attention to detail
Our leader did everything well. Tickets and room keys and literature presented in a timely manner. I knew Tauck could be trusted to deliver quality, because the best trip I ever took was with them in Turkey and Greece. The first sighting of Bryce Canyon.

5* Best time EVER!!!
We traveled with 3 other couples. From the very first moment, we knew we were in great hands with Tauck. So many little things made the difference. For example. The guides would always say...what time do you want to eat, and with how many people. Every day, he would say...I know. 8 people. Last seating!!!!! The Parks!! OMG. Most memorable moment??? Which one! OK....getting up before sunrise...walking to the 'coffee shop', and having hot coffee ready for the 8 of us as we watch the sun come up over the canyons! This was a pinch me moment! The proximity of our cabin to the edge of the canyon couldn't have been better!

4* Canyonlands by Rail
Trip was great - Tour Director was wonderful, knowledgeable, informative, helpful. Excursions were fun - although I have suggestions for improvements. Both my husband and I as first time Tauck tourists didn't know what to expect but for the most part were very pleased with our Tour. Overall a good trip! The mule ride down to the bottom of Bryce Canyon - not on the itinerary but our Tour Director was able to get some rides for us. Second was the Flight to Monument Valley, 3rd, the Float/Raft on the Colorado River.

5* Wonderful in every way
Our first Tauck trip and it was exceptional. The attention to detail, from the itinerary to the meals, and the hotels was top notch. We stayed in-the-park which saved tons of travel time. Our guide was a Tauck veteran of 26 years. We liked Bryce the best, then Lake Powell and the river rafting, but the Grand Canyon and Zion were incredible. Waking up in our cabin on the rim of Bryce Canyon and walking out to see the sunrise.

5* Clinton's Canyonland
We had three prerequisites for deciding on a tour: Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, and lodging within the national parks. Tauck provided it all. We had sunsets and sunrises within feet of our lodging. Tour Director Clinton ensured we experienced it all efficiently and wisely, enhancing our trip with his experience, knowledge and humor. We walked to the rim of Bryce Canyon in late afternoon, just as the sun was setting it on fire. The hoodoos appeared lit from beneath, translucent in the sun's rays. The hoodoos in the amphitheater seemed lifelike and about to move. Breathtaking. We arrived at the perfect moment.

5* America's Canyonlands Rock!
We had learned that it is virtually impossible to get a room inside one of the 3 parks without being part of a tour group, so we opted to book the America's Canyonlands tour. The overall experience far exceeded our expectations. From our stay at the Four Seasons Scottsdale till we finally lighted in Las Vegas, every day was better than the last. There were too many memorable moments to try to single one out as "most" memorable.

5* The Natural Wonders of Our Country
We had a great time on The Canyonlands tour. Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park were each amazing in their own way! Eliminating Las Vegas after all of that natural beauty would make this a perfect trip. Is there anywhere else that you could end this otherwise wonderful tour? Everyone on the tour agreed on this point. Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion and the flyover of the Canyon were all memorable. Also the float trip, which was so beautiful.

2* Disappointing
We had a simple room request when we booked with the office in Ct. We arrived to find the request had been reversed (for the entire trip) Tried to fix with the hotel but it would have cost $400. Called Ct but they could do nothing. The assured me that the issue was corrected for the entire trip. 2nd stop same thing happened. The alternative fr At the end of the trip we were to have a car take us to the airport. Given an 800# if there was any change. Called the 800# 10 times over 40 minutes only to get a busy signal. Had to call Ct. They got an immediate reply but they got the time wrong. Could not get to anyone so we got to the airport 2 hrs early. But at least the trip was over

5* In the houses of stone and light
Another seamless Tauck experience! Canyonlands offered a very well-planned itinerary, with a good balance of structured group events and ample free time to explore the beautiful national parks. Our tour director and driver were both outstanding, and did everything possible to ensure our satisfaction and comfort. Walking through the hoodoos in Bryce Canyon, just steps from our rustic cabin. Rafting down the Colorado River. Beginning a day in the silence of Zion, ending it in Vegas.

5* Canyon Beauty
We loved our Canyonlands trip. Our guide was terrific and so knowledgeable about history, nature and things to do at each location. The Four Seasons hotels in Scottsdale and Las Vegas were outstanding, and the National Parks hotels were surprisingly nice with great food for the most part. The beauty of the southwest was awesome. The flightseeing trip over the Glen Canyon and Monument Valley excursion was the highlight for me on this trip.

5* I get it now!
The area of the Canyonlands includes incredible, majestic, unbelievable etc. sights. Anyone who can get there can enjoy the beauty and wonder. What makes it even more memorable is the "how" you get there: stress-free, in comfort, best locations, prime viewing sites, no lines, great meals and the extras that Tauck includes. Guide was superb. During float trip on Colorado, the guide brought the pontoon to a stop, turned off the motor. We sat there in silence, surrounded by majestic rock walls, blue sky, clear water, and a humbling sense of the history and the power of the place.

From the moment we were picked up in Scottsdale, everything was well organized and ran like clockwork. We had heard some 'negative' things about the hotels in the National Parks, but found them to be absolutely fine! The Grand Canyon, Bryce and Zion are magnificent. Wish we had more time in each location. Overall a wonderful experience. Hard to pick just one, but Bryce Canyon is one of the MOST amazing and beautiful places we've had the good fortune to visit. Everyone should go there at least once in their life time!

America's Canyonlands was a superb tour of the beauty of these national treasures. Stunning vistas, excellent tour guide, luxurious hotels at start and end, and fantastic, historic park accommodations right at the edge. Tauck kept us moving and enjoying new sights and informational tidbits the whole way. We'll be back for another Tauck vacation! Although one cannot deny the grandeur of the Grand Canyon, we were absolutely awed by the up-close visuals in Bryce and Zion. They made the trip for us. This was our first Tauck bus trip which we were very tentative about. It turned out to be excellent. Organizing bus seats by lottery was efficient and made everyone happy. Everyone on the trip enjoyed the videos, music(impromptu sing-along),and games. The lodgings in the National Parks were excellent. The weather was perfect and we had a great time. Toss up between the plane trip to Monument Valley and the raft trip on the Colorado River. The bus trip through the mountains to Zion was incredible. We've never seen a road like it before. Needless to say, the grandeur of the parks can't be put into enough words to truly touch on how awesome they are. Mother's Day Brunch made the ending perfect.

4* American Canyonlands
This was our first Tauck trip and it exceeded our expectations. Our tour director was wonderful! The lodging wasn't luxurious, but for this trip, location matters more. We stepped out of our room and we were right there. Bryce was our favorite and the log cabin was charming. The Zion Lodge had cleanliness and staff issues (see comment card). The boat ride to Antelope Canyon was breathtaking! Sit outside for the best views. Having a great tour director made this a most enjoyable trip. Meeting wonderful people added to our enjoyment! Each park was so different...all beautiful sights.

4* Incedible variety
The title of this trip might make you think that if you have seen one canyon you have seen them all but each of of the canyons were unique and amazing. Seeing the national parks is a wonderful experience. Tauck made it easy, informative, and left us looking forward to another trip to see more. Hiking down into Bryce Canyon (or more correctly as we learned Amphitheater!).

5* Canyonlands Unforgettable
We fretted about our ability to measure up to the demands of the trip(as 82 and 81 year olds). Our Tauck Director was not only outstanding as a director but was caring and reassured us we would be equal to the task and we would in fact ultimately be in control. We were and the trip was unforgettable in any category one might list. Period! Our first view of the Grand Canyon. Our flight over Lake Powell. the hoodoos of Bryce. And finally the exquisite Zion National Park. Along with these "mosts", our Tauck Director must be added to the list. She was personable, patient, caring, informative and fun in spite of the considerable responsibilities she mastered.

5* Canyonlands Great!
Canyonlands was a remarkable trip. Three of my friends in San Antonio had been on Tauck Tours, and they all told me to go on this trip. It is really first-rate; all the stress out of travelling is taken care of by Tauck. Tour director was great, and my fellow travelers were just wonderful people. All the lodges, motels, cabins, etc. were great. Probably my mule ride down to the bottom of Bryce Canyon. Also I would have to say our plane ride to Monument Valley was incredible and not-to-be missed.

5* Canyonlands Tour
The National Parks are a must see and Tauck does a great job. From the knowledgeable tour directors to staying inside the National Parks, Tauck attends to all the details and you have plenty of time to appreciate the natural beauty these locations have to offer. I have taken this particular tour twice and can't say enough about it. As beautiful as these national treasures are, Bryce always holds a special place in my heart. Don't forget to visit the rim when the stars are up~!

5* Keeps getting better
On the way to the Grand Canyon, our tour guide asked, "How many of you came on this trip because you wanted to see the Grand Canyon?" About half the hands (including mine) went up. Then he said, "The Grand Canyon is great--but the scenery only gets better from here." It seemed unlikely, but he was so right! What an amazing trip! Bryce Canyon took my breath away, but my favorite part was the raft trip down the Colorado River. Not at all scary (I was worried)--soothing, educational, beautiful. The trip had a nice blend of active and relaxing activities.

5* America's Canyonlands May 14, 2018
This was my husband and my first Tauck tour and we were 200% satisfied. We cannot speak highly enough of the itinerary (Sedona, Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Bryce, Zion), the accommodations (location and quality), meals (variety and quality), balance of tour time vs. free time and our TD! We cannot wait to take our second Tauck tour, very soon. Seeing the Grand Canyon for the first time was amazing!

A+++ all the way thru-from the transportation to and from airport, hotels, lodges, food, personel, weather, tour, side trips-- I can't say enough--well planned out. Loved Bryce Canyon and Glen Canyon (mule rides, float trip and airplane ride)---excellent river dinner cruise--all top of the line.

5* Canyons, Scottsdale, and Las Vegas
This is a trip we had studied a long time. We had explored other travel options for this trip, but when everything is taken into account--the accommodations, the included meals, the quality of the tour itself--there is no comparison! Each site, each excursion was simply WOW! Never disappointed with Tauck. We were amazed by the Grand Canyon, as expected, but walking up to the rim of Bryce was just stunning. Having this a mere minute's walk from our beautiful cabin was a super plus. The 16 mile pontoon ride on the Colorado plus the optional plane ride to Monument Valley were truly exceptional.

4* Canyonlands in September
Four Seasons at beginning and end of trip were spectacular hotels. While this trip required a great many miles on the bus, it was just what I expected...beautiful scenery at all of the canyons. The flight over lake Powell and the raft ride on the Colorado River were incredible. Many nice interesting people travelled with us in this group. It's a toss up between the boat ride in Antelope Canyon and the flight over lake Powell.

5* America's Canyonlands-Nature's Gift to the World's Tourists
We are fortunate to have our National Park System which maintains the very best tourist attractions this country has for the world to see and enjoy. This tour should be among the first on your agenda for Teenager to Senior alike. The sights are a visual masterpiece to see, and an educational, scholarly experience provided by your Tauck Tour Director The highlight for me was the Twin-Otter private group flight on the Navajo Reservation to Monument Valley. Fantastic scenery to a very remote part of the country.

We were nervous about traveling in a group where we knew no one. Tauck made the experience flawless. We were a total of 42 and we hit it off with everyone. 4* 2017 Canyonlands Tour
Excellent tour. The Tour Director was great. Very organized. I would have liked to stay at the Grand Canyon an additional day. That was the only part where I felt rushed. I would suggest one more day at the Grand Canyon and, therefore, extend the tour by one day. Bryce Canyon was phenomenal.

Our expectations were exceeded. The trip is an amazing opportunity to see the beautiful canyons-Grand, Bryce, and Zion. The trip is well planned, executed well, and offers a variety of ways to see the canyons- rim, river, and trails. We would recommend this trip and do it again ourselves. Our guide was exceptional along with our driver. The most memorable moment of our trip was our first look at the Grand Canyon, overwhelmed by its expansiveness and the feeling of we can't believe we are finally here!

5* Canyon Lands was Fantastic
This was our third Tauck excursion and excellent in every aspect. My only suggestion is that Monument Valley be included as a standard excursion rather than a (paid) optional extra. If you are going on this journey be sure to opt for Monument Valley. The site was extraordinary, even more memorable (to us) than the Grand Canyon. So many . . . but Zion, Monument Valley, Bryce, and the Grand Canyon in that order.

The sights were amazing and the sunrise over the Canyons are not to be missed.Hotels in the parks are nice but not 5 star. You are right on the edge of the canyons so no complaints! Make sure you do not miss the Monument Valley flight and land tour!! At first we did not book it, but decided on the bus to book at the last minute. So glad we did!! Our 1st group tour. We loved: Quality/location of hotels, excellent food, having planning & luggage transfer, high quality tour leader & driver, incredible sites. We would have liked: shorter Sedona stop in arts rather than touristy area, more time at Grand Canyon, other parks. Pre & post trip resort stays nice but we can do that w/o a tour. 5* Perfect in every way!
My husband and I took our first Tauck trip to "America's Canyonlands," and what an incredible experience that was. Everything from the well paced schedule to meeting our needs was right on the mark. The bus, the TD, the driver, the lodges and hotels, the food, the little and big surprise, our fellow travelers all contributed to our best ever trip! Waking up in the lodges at the Grand Canyon and Bryce Canyon and walking 30 secs. to see the sunrise....completing the 1.8 mile Navajo Loop trail amongst the hoodoos at Bryce...sitting at the Four Seasons pool in Scottsdale and having an attendant offer to clean our sunglasses!

4* Canyons 58
Everything Tauck could do they did top notch. They handled our luggage so well, I almost didn't know I had any. The Tour Director and Bus Driver were fantastic. The trip was well planned by Tauck. The scenery in all the canyons with Bryce being number one.

5* Fabulous
My husband and I were hesitant to take a tour as our vacation. We usually do the Carribean. We were both pleasantly surprised. Best vacation ever. Tauck knows how to turn a trip into an unforgettable adventure. We did America's Canyonlands. Everything was perfect. Thanks Tauck we will be back Sunrise pictures at the Grand Canyon

4* Canyonlands
Had a good trip. Views of the various canyons were amazing. We had some rainy, foggy periods, but thats Mother Nature for you. Wish we had had more time at Sedona and more time at each of the canyons. Maybe it should be a 9-10 day trip. We particularly loved the airplane ride over Rainbow Bridge and the continuing journey to the Reservation.

5* Canyonlands trip
Stress free, organized and seamless. everything was first class: lodging, hotels, meals and the guided tour each exceeded our expectations and left us thinking how it could have been any better and we couldn't think of any changes. The first sight of each canyon. In particular Zion was the most memorable and had the loudest "Wow"

3* Cnayonlands
Places were great of course. Lodging perfect ....location location location. Better to have more time at Either bryce or zion than two nights at lake powell. Would not do another tour with you.being forced to sit and eat with groups via a daily bus task of "now let's all figure out who we are eating dinner with". Too stressful and NOT fun Double rainbow at bryce
