Accommodation Name: Delta Lodge at Kananaskis

Meals: Dinner

Location: Banff National Park, Canada

Weather permitting, start the day with a morning helicopter excursion* that showcases the stunning views of Mount Yamnuska, the Bow River and Heart Mountain, with a final ascent directly over Mt. Baldy, named Enemy Warrior Lookout by the Stoney Nakoda people. Here, you're able to see the "Warrier" looking out over the spectacular lakes of the Kananaskis Valley. Then head high up into the Canadian Rockies and cross the Continental Divide through Kicking Horse Pass on a day of Alberta travel on which you'll see some of the most beautiful lakes in North America. After lunch, visit Moraine Lake (in the Valley of the Ten Peaks). The lovely lake is one of the most photographed spots in all of Canada; its beauty prompted explorer Walter Wilcox, who named it Moraine Lake after the moraine, or rock pile deposited by the Wenkchemna Glacier, to write “no scene had ever given me an equal impression of inspiring solitude and rugged grandeur,” adding that his time spent contemplating the view was the "happiest half-hour of my life." Arrive at your historic château-style resort hotel on the edge of Lake Louise where you'll enjoy lake-view accommodations during your two-night stay; have dinner at the hotel tonight.

5* Fabulous Trip!!
Great journey! With 30+ travelers we were divided into two groups that allowed more individual attention. Hotel selection, food/service was excellent.Machu Picchu was awesome. Some of the ruin steps were steep but not at Machu Picchu. The 9 hour train ride through the Andes Mountains had diverse and beautiful scenery. Our tour director was the best. So many.Machu Picchu, visiting llama and alpaca farm;seeing them roam the land during the train ride, Monasterio and InkaTerra hotels, local shamen, native cultures at Uros/Taquille island.Tauck's many extra's along the way that helped in the ruin climbing as well their other nice surprises! Great farewell dinner, a fusion of old/new Peruvian flavor

5* Lifetime dream
The trip was wonderful and our guide was very knowledgeable and organized. I fulfilled my lifelong dream to experience the Canadian Rockies and there is no one better at it than Tauck. The view of Lake Louise from our Hotel window following a light snowfall in the mountains the night before.

4* Best of the Canadian Rockies Was as Good as Anticipated!
We were impressed with the hotels and quality of food. This itinerary included more meals than other Tauck tours we have been on and we liked how there were five nights where we could choose the restaurant for dinner and were not limited in our menu selections. It felt like we were dining with friends rather than being part of a large tour group. Checking into our room with the spectacular view at the Chateau at Lake Louise.

5* Excellent "Best of the Canadian Rockies"
This was our first land tour ever. We chose Tauck because we've been happy with their river cruises, and this didn't disappoint: small group 26 people, excellent knowledgeable tour director, best hotels and rooms with views, good free time balanced with tours, no lines, all-inclusive, frequent open dinners completely included. Walking on Athabasca Glacier, all the Fairmont properties, Outlook Cabin in Jasper.
