Join Boudicca for a leisurely cruise to Spain, Italy and Portugal to discover heirlooms left by ancient and modern civilisations, artists, architects and Mother Nature. This is your chance to imagine being amongst the roar of Roman spectators at the Colosseum, or buying flour from a family-run grocers found within Pompeii’s ruins. Take a walk through the royal chambers of Alhambra Palace, and relax on deck as we sail along the beautiful Amalfi Coast.

Days 21-22
As we sail home you may want to rest after all your sightseeing. If you’re still full of energy, there‘s lots to fill your time - from quizzes, games and music recitals to walks on deck and dance classes. And of course there’s plenty of opportunity to enjoy all the tasty food options.

Day 23
We disembark after breakfast. Your Titan vehicle will be waiting for the journey home.

Day 1
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your journey to Dover. Embark Boudicca (3.5-star) in preparation for a late afternoon sailing.

Days 2-4
As we sail towards Malaga, you’re free to do as much (or as little) as you wish. Maybe start your day off with a brisk walk around the deck. Or opt for a yoga class. Spend the afternoon learning a craft, or perfecting your golf swing. After your choice of dinner, you can catch a show or dance into the night.

Day 5
Andalucia combines the appealing idleness of seemingly endless beaches with the exciting bustle of city life. A wealth of cultural, historical, artistic and architectural treasures can be found in Malaga, including the Picasso Museum and the striking Alcazaba Fortress and Castillo de Gibralfaro. Granada’s Alhambra is just an excursion away.

Day 6
Today is free as we continue our cruise. Enjoy a hearty breakfast then take your pick from the variety of activities on board. Show off your general knowledge in an afternoon or evening quiz. Try your hand at bridge, bingo or deck quoits. Or indulge in a traditional afternoon tea to while away your time. Top off the day with a sumptuous dinner or a simple tasty buffet.

Day 7
Mahon is a delightful capital with traces of various civilisations in the façades of city halls and churches. From here, sleepy fishing villages, stunning beaches and Monte Toro, the island’s highest peak, are all waiting to be uncovered.

Day 8
Spend the day on board. Maybe read a book and relax or choose to listen to a fascinating talk by a guest speaker. Enjoy lunchtime melodies or a piano recital, then walk a mile with the cruise fitness instructor.

Day 9
Sorrento’s maze of streets is a joy to explore - little alleyways of inviting shops filled with ice cream, limoncello and pottery. Look for the unusual Vallone dei Mulino, and take a steep walk to the sea or the surrounding hills. Or take an excursion to the tenderly excavated remains of Herculaneum and Pompeii. Ship to shore tender service.

Day 10
Naples can feel chaotic on first sight, but go beyond the ruggedness and a UNESCO World Heritage city of archaeological treasures, breathtaking frescoes, elegant sculptures and superb panoramas can be found. The city’s collection of palaces, castles and churches almost puts Rome to shame.

Day 11
The stunning, UNESCO-listed town of Amalfi is the heart of Italy’s glorious Amalfi Coast. Although most of the old city dropped into the Mediterranean during an earthquake in 1343, you can still experience the past through the Arab-Romanesque architecture of Sant'Andrea Cathedral; the Museo Arsenale, a converted medieval shipyard; and the Moorish-style Cloister of Paradise. Late this afternoon, we cruise along the Amalfi Coast and past Capri. Ship to shore tender service.

Day 12
Civitavecchia is a historic port with links to Rome. Explore the Roman dock or take a full-day excursion to the Eternal City to view great Renaissance and baroque masterpieces, the Colosseum and Forum of Ancient Rome.

Day 13
Spend today in Livorno, known for its seafood, Renaissance-era fortifications, and canal-laced historic district. An easy train journey from this Tuscan port city opens up the spectacular art and Duomo of Florence, and Pisa’s Leaning Tower.

Day 14
Portofino is the perfect, pastel-coloured fishing village tucked away in a tree-sheltered bay just south of Genoa. Stroll along a harbour lined with super-yachts, or follow cobbled paths to small piazzas and a gorgeous hanging garden towered over by a weathered fortress. Ship to shore tender service.

Day 15
Genoa is the birthplace of Christopher Columbus and pesto! Savour the vivid green sauce over pasta as you people-watch from a small ristorante, and explore sights that include a moored submarine and a medieval Old Town which once rivalled Venice.

Day 16
Another free day to enjoy the ship’s facilities.

Day 17
One of Spain’s most important port cities for over 2,000 years, Cartagena is bursting with history and culture. Spend your afternoon visiting Casa de la Fortuna, a villa with murals and mosaics, and medieval Castillo de la Conception. Or follow the trail of modernist buildings designed by pupils of Antoni Gaudi.

Day 18
Keep your brain active with the morning quiz, then perfect your dance moves in the afternoon with a beginners’ class. After dinner, you could continue the dancing theme and join the hosted dancing, or choose to watch the professionals instead.

Day 19
A day to enjoy Portugal’s colourful capital. Ancient ruins, white-domed cathedrals and fascinating museums await. Don’t miss Belém, where a simple fortress marks the starting point for many voyages of discovery.

Day 20
Spend the afternoon in Vigo. The fishing houses in the wonderful old quarter hint at the city’s historical importance in Spain’s maritime industry. The neo-classical Collegiate Church of Santa Maria was built on the site of a grand Gothic church that was destroyed by Francis Drake, and is well worth a visit.
