Day 1
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your journey to Dover. Embark Balmoral (3.5-star) in preparation for a late afternoon sailing.

Day 2
As we sail towards Spain, you’re free to do as much (or as little) as you wish. Maybe start your day off with a brisk walk around the deck. Or opt for a yoga class. Spend the afternoon learning a craft, or perfecting your golf swing. After your choice of dinner, you can catch a show or dance into the night.

Day 3
La Coruña’s old quarter - the compact Ciudad Vieja - is a must-see today. The medieval centre contains remains of the centuries-old Roman wall that once protected it. The city is most famous for its Roman lighthouse; however, the medieval Church of Santiago, the Museum of Sacred Art and the Military Museum are also fine places to visit. Pause to people watch in the arcaded Plaza de María Pita, which features the Estatua de María Pita, a statue of the 16th century woman who warned the town of an invasion by Sir Francis Drake.

Day 4
A short journey from Leixões takes you into the heart of Porto. Head to the historic Ribeira District, and follow the narrow, cobbled lanes down to the Douro River, where cafés take advantage of the view. Across the river, you’ll spot well known port wine cellars where you can pop in for a sample. Back in the centre of the city is the dominating, fortress-like cathedral, which is worth visiting for the views alone.

Day 5
Spend the day on board. Maybe read a book and relax or choose to listen to a fascinating talk by a guest speaker. Enjoy lunchtime melodies or a piano recital, then walk a mile with the cruise fitness instructor.

Days 6-7
Funchal has a timeless old-world charm that has enchanted generations of visitors. The town is famous for its harbour, the 17th century São Tiago Fortress (now the Contemporary Art Museum) and world-renowned Madeiran wine cellars. Take in the scents of nature in Funchal’s parks and gardens, filled year-round with the colours and perfumes of flowers and fruit. A hike through the UNESCO-protected laurel forest nearby is also highly recommended. For those with an eye for architecture, Funchal’s ancient cathedral mixes Gothic and Romanesque architecture, and is noted for its impressive carved wooden ceiling.

Day 8
Keep your brain active with the morning quiz, then perfect your dance moves in the afternoon with a beginners’ class. After dinner, you could continue the dancing theme and join the hosted dancing, or choose to watch the professionals instead.

Day 9
Lisbon was decimated by an earthquake in 1755, which gave it the opportunity to grow into the Pombaline capital we see today. Pastel-coloured buildings, ancient ruins and white-domed cathedrals entice you down the cobbled alleyways. Attractions include the antiques collections of the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum, and the National Museum of Contemporary Art. Don't forget to break up your sightseeing to sample egg tarts at iconic bakery Pasteis de Belém. Then stroll through Jardin de Belém and you’ll find yourself on the coast alongside the impressive Monument of the Discoveries.

Days 10-11
As we sail home you may want to rest after all your sightseeing. If you’re still full of energy, there‘s lots to fill your time - from quizzes, games and music recitals to walks on deck and dance classes. And of course there’s plenty of opportunity to enjoy all the tasty food options.

Day 12
We disembark after breakfast and your Titan vehicle will be waiting for the journey home.
