Say sawatdee ka to Thailand! Touch down at Bangkok airport before meeting your airport representative and taken to your transfer vehicle. Ah, no hassle! Next stop: your hotel. Drop your bags, get checked in and explore for the rest of the day. Fill up on culture at one of the 100+ museums, immerse yourself in a new religion at one of the royal temples or get your food and shopping fix from one of the 100,000 street vendors. Pad thai anyone?
Day 2: Bangkok
Rise and shine! Kick off your Bangkok rush hour with a full-day city highlights tour visiting some of the most iconic sights. First up: the lesser-visited Jim Thompson's house – where the influential Thai silk businessman and designer lived before he disappeared in the Malaysian jungle in 1974. Take the BTS to Saphan Taksin pier where we’ll swap the train for a boat and cruise along the majestic Chao Phraya River. You’ll have the opportunity to visit the Grand Palace (home to the Emerald Buddha) before we take a tuk-tuk it to the grand buddhist temple Wat Pho. Eeek, hold on! Wrap up an epic day with a massage from the highly-skilled Wat Pho masseurs – when in Thailand, right?
Day 3: Bangkok
More city madness today. Explore as you wish, hit up as many temples as possible or shop ‘till you drop. Later, freshen up for tonight's entertainment – and by entertainment we mean adventure (duh!). We’re talking about an epic street eats tuk-tuk tour. Let’s go! Head out on a traditional tuk-tuk ride through Bangkok’s vibrant streets before arriving at Phetchburi Soi 10 (home to allll the delicious street eats). From skewered meats and fish paste balls to Thai-Indian creations like freshly baked roti and flavoursome curries, you’re sure to discover a whole bunch of new and exciting tastes. Indulge in Thailand’s famed Pad Thai at a restaurant that does it best. Then: pay a visit to the majestic Wat Pho after dark, where you can feast your eyes on the temple’s sparkling golden towers all lit up. Round off the night with a visit to Pak Klong Talat, Thailand’s largest flower market, before hopping back in the tuk-tuk for the journey home. Oh yeah, this is the life!
Day 4: Bangkok
After breakfast we're off. Short but sweet! Transfer from the hotel to the Bangkok airport to continue on your adventure. Where to next?
