Day 1: CairoWelcome to Egypt! At the Cairo terminal keep your eyes peeled for the Travel Talk sign for your transfer to the hotel. Freshen up and meet in the lobby around 6:00pm for an informal meeting with your guide and other tour members. Afterwards you have free time to start exploring vibrant Cairo or board a cruise for an optional group dinner.

Day 2: Cairo City Tour, LuxorPrepare your lenses for the breath-taking, world-famous Pyramids and the Sphinx at the Giza Plateau. Face all their 4,600-year glory and embrace the only remaining Ancient Wonder of the World. After everyone had their dose of awe, we head out to Sakkara for sightseeing. The first capital of ancient Egypt is famous for the step pyramid built in 2700 B.C. Later in the afternoon, board the bus to Luxor and check into our premium hotel by the Nile River.

Day 3: Luxor, AswanAfter breakfast, depart for the vast Karnak Temple Complex, one of the most important religious centres of ancient Egypt with its marvellous Obelisk and temples. Your Egyptologist guide will enlighten you with the most intriguing stories and mythologies fuelling such creations for millennia. In the afternoon drive to Aswan for overnight stay.

Day 4: AswanTime to explore Aswan, famed for its skilled artisans and the Unfinished Obelisk. Take a short motorboat ride to reach the Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, the divine mother of the pharaohs. The temple is set beautifully on an island in the middle of the Nile. Early in the morning you can join the optional trip to the gorgeous Abu Simbel, an iconic UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a must-do for all keen on history and mythology.

Day 5: Daily Felucca cruise on the NileTime to relax and enjoy the cool breeze of the Nile. Jump on-board a traditional Felucca sailboat, bound for the Elephantine and Kitchener Islands on the Nile. After our river excursion, the rest of the day is yours to wander around Aswan as you wish.

Day 6: Edfu, Kom Ombo, LuxorA day full of amazing wonders and ancient beauties. Start off with a visit to the Kom Ombo Temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek. Next stop will be Edfu, home to one of the largest and best-preserved temples in Egypt. Dedicated to the falcon god Horus, the temple was built over 180-years from 237 BC to 57 BC. As you get your dose of marvel, ride to Luxor and check into the hotel. After a refreshing break, brace for the Luxor Temple, dedicated to the great god Amun. The temple was built on top of a smaller structure dating back to 14th century BC!

Day 7: Luxor, CairoThe West Bank of the Nile awaits with the incredible Valley of the Kings. Also known as “City of the Dead”, it's home to fancy royal tombs carved into desert rocks and filled with treasures for the Pharaoh afterlife. As you’d expect, here lied the famous mummy of Tutankhamun III. Rising out of the desert plain in a series of terraces, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut is the next stop. As you try to break the spell of ancient wonders, drive to Cairo for overnight stay.

Day 8: Cairo City Tour, Flight to Casablanca, MarrakechThe journey continues with one of the most important museums dedicated to the ancient world. Egyptian Museum of Cairo houses around 120,000 ancient Egyptian relics and antiquities. Then roam around Cairo stopping by the Citadel of Saladin, Mosque of Mohammed Ali, the Hanging Church and the world-famous Khan el-Khalili bazaar. Make sure to wear your haggling hats and brace for the mayhem! Later on, fly to Casablanca and transfer to Marrakech for the second leg of your trip.

Day 9: Marrakech, Zagora, M'hamid, Jeep SafariIt's time to cross into the vast Sahara desert! Drive along the Draa valley until reaching the desert village of Zagora, reflecting the traditional desert life in Morocco. The village is located at the edge of the Sahara desert and where you join a 4x4 jeep safari. Pass through magnificent dessert villages and take a break at an oasis for a locally prepared lunch. Continue on to the Saharan oasis town of M’hamid and climb up the sand dunes before we heading to our camp. A traditional Moroccan dinner is prepared by the camp staff for you to enjoy under the desert stars.

Day 10: M'hamid, Camel Trek at the desertWake up to the Saharan sun and take a mental picture to last forever, an astounding day of Saharan adventure awaits! Ride your camel across the Sahara soak in the magical desert atmosphere and way of life. Have lunch at a local house in the desert. Make your way back to the campsite for an experience of a lifetime: watching the desert change colour at sunset. Enjoy your Bedouin style dinner and if you're lucky locals may entertain you with traditional songs and dances by the campfire.

Day 11: M’hamid, AgadirEnough of the desert, time to embrace the ocean! Leave the desert sands for the sandy beaches of Agadir and the beautiful vast ocean. A popular sea resort, especially for windsurfers, the town gets 340 days of sunshine a year! Roam the pretty village and markets, and rest up along the southern Atlantic coastline of Morocco.

Day 12: Agadir, EssaouiraHop back on the coach and drive along the charming ocean coast and banana plantations until we reach Essaouira. Morocco’s top sea-side destination, Essaouira has something to offer everyone: water sports, delicious Moroccan seafood, vast beaches and attractive nightlife. Its marvellous citadel is an attraction of its own with breath-taking views of the ocean and tiny local shops scattered all around.
Day 13: EssaouiraEmbark on a full day of discovery of the beautiful town. One of the most popular surfing destinations on the Atlantic Ocean, Essaouira is serene, friendly and charming. Wander through tall white houses with yellow detail and blue doors, narrow streets, local markets and the impressive ramparts that surround the old town. Enjoy some jazz, and savour delicious fish at the Essaouira port for a spectacular evening.

Day 14: Essaouira, MarrakechTime to bid farewell to the ocean as you embark on a scenic drive to Marrakech through Argan trees. If you're lucky, you may meet goats climbing the trees! Late in the afternoon you will reach the fascinating city of Marrakech. It is where the Arab city culture meets the Berber culture of the desert and mountain villages. Here, the sub-Saharan traders would trade their wares with European merchants, who would then bring them to Europe. Wear your haggling hats as you discover Djemaa el-Fna Square and brace for the mayhem! Marking the entrance to the huge bazaar, the area is packed with story tellers, snake charmers, acrobats, musicians and folk dancers.
