A 9 day escorted tour (maximum 12 people) in Albania, offering a delightful mix of history, culture and beautiful scenery.

As a geographical and cultural entity Albania has often been enigmatic and somewhat misunderstood. This ancient land offers something increasingly rare in Europe these days – a glance into a culture that is all its own. Our 9 day small group tour focuses on the cultural and historic aspects of the country but you will also find beautiful pristine beaches and dramatic mountain citadels. From the ancient Illyrians and Greeks to the Romans and the Ottomans, the language, music, arts, and cuisine of the Albanian people are a rich and vibrant mix of many civilizations. This small group tour delves in to this enigmatic past and we explore the history and culture of the country while visiting the 'must see' three UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Butrint, Gjirokastra, and Berat.
