Explore the pretty medieval towns of the Alsace region of France, as we take you on a tour of rolling countryside, quaint buildings and fine wines. We begin with a visit to Metz, before we arrive at our base in Klingenthal, where we will remain for four nights. From our base, we partake in many memorable excursions, experience a full day in Strasbourg, with its half-timbered buildings, visit the regional capital of Colmar, lined with canals and charming squares, and enjoy wine tasting in a nearby wine cellar. As the holiday comes to an end, we head to the delightful town of Obernai, set amongst the vineyards of the sloped Vosges Mountains. You will stay for four nights at the 3-star Des Vosges in Klingenthal. Overnight stays in northern France will be in city-style hotels.
