If your family is in need of a holiday, there’s no place better to find something for everyone than stunning Croatia. On this eight-day trip, you’ll start and end inside the city walls of Dubrovnik – a truly unique city (home to Game of Thrones fame) full of hole-in-the-wall restaurants serving up fresh, local dishes, plenty of walking opportunities with epic coastal views. Take a ferry to the island of Lastovo (the only island in Croatia declared a nature reserve) and enjoy a fresh farm-to-table dinner at a family-owned farm. Learn about the local flora and fauna, swim in the sea and join a local astronomer for a spot of stargazing. Then in Korcula, you’ll learn how to make Makaruni and enjoy some free time to hike, bike or laze as you wish.
  • Experience the best of Croatia, from Dubrovnik's famed medieval-like city walls to the beautiful islands of Korcula and Lastovo.
  • Join a local fisherman and his wife on their boat as you learn about the local way of life, then swim in the tranquil waters as your hosts prepare a delicious lunch from the day’s catch.
  • Stargaze with a local astronomer on the island of Lastovo – widely regarded as one of the best spots in the world to view the night sky due to its extremely low light pollution. Learn about constellations and hike to the top of the village for the best views.
  • Enjoy plenty of free time to choose your own adventures, explore the cities and villages and enjoy the gorgeous cove beaches. Spend time in nature and soak in the relaxed Mediterranean way of life.
  • By travelling on this trip, you’ll directly support our Intrepid Foundation partner, Humana Zagreb. Donations help provide job opportunities and education programs in sustainable fashion and textiles for people with disabilities.
  • Learn how to make Makaruni?– a traditional pasta native to a small town on the island Korcula – during a hands-on cooking class.
  • Spend the day onboard a boat with an expert nature guide to learn all about the local inhabitants of Lastovo, stopping in coves and picturesque bays for a swim along the way.
  • GENERAL ROOMING CONFIGURATIONS:
  • Family of two: All family groupings of two will be accommodated in a twin room.
  • Family of three: Wherever possible we will put you in a triple room. Please be aware that in some places triple rooms are in short supply. This means that a triple room will often be a twin room with a rollaway bed or mattress on the floor. Where triple rooms aren’t available it will be at your discretion which of your family takes the single room.
  • Family of four or more: You will most likely be accommodated in two twin rooms. Where possible, we will accommodate your family in a quadruple room.
  • While we do our very best to ensure that family groups are roomed close together (in some cases, we can arrange adjoining rooms), we can’t guarantee this. Most family holidays occur during peak season and we sometimes have little to no control over the exact placement of rooms within a hotel. Please be understanding if we are unable to room your family in immediate proximity of one another.
