- : Walk in the footsteps of Bozeman’s founders on its historic Main Street as you appreciate its place in the history of the West. Once a gathering place for the local indigenous peoples’ tribes, Bozeman also served a vital role during the 1860s gold rush. Hear stories of important figures including John Bozeman, Daniel Rouse, Nelson Story and architect Fred Willson. From wooden shacks to brick beauties, the unique architecture represents different phases of Bozeman’s growth.
- : Delve into cultural and natural history at the Museum of the Rockies (MOR). Exploring their rotating and permanent exhibits -- including Landforms/Lifeforms and Dinosaurs Under the Big Sky, Welcome to Yellowstone Country, Enduring Peoples and the Paugh History Hall -- experience science, art, culture and history. Don’t miss their collection of dinosaur fossils, including the fully mounted Montana Trex skeletons.
- : Enjoy a creative lunch with a view at the National Museum of Wildlife Art’s member’s only lounge. Savor inventive dishes made with seasonal, sustainable and local ingredients presented in a creative way overlooking the National Elk Refuge. Try their salad, elk Bolognese lasagna or seasonal vegetarian quiche and lemon posset as dessert.
- Yellowstone National Park: The world’s first National Park, Yellowstone spans 2,219,789 acres and even has its own Grand Canyon. The park is home to half of the world’s hydrothermal features, more than 10,000, of which over 300 are geysers. Yellowstone is also a wildlife paradise. Some 1,700 species of plants and 400 species of birds, fish and mammals live in the park, including bison, wolves, bears, elk and moose.

- Yellowstone National Park: One of the major geyser basins in Yellowstone, the Mammoth Hot Springs Area is visually unique from the other thermal features in the park. Here, hot water rises through the limestone, dissolving large quantities of rock and leaving a chalky mineral deposit in the surface. Find yourself by the bubbling waters, whose constant movement means the springs are changing all the time.

Witness the striking Grand Tetons thrust skyward 6,562 feet (2,000 meters) from the valley floor and keenly watch for exciting wildlife that call these mountains home. - Yellowstone National Park: The Park’s Upper Geyser Basin and Midway Geyser Basin are home to some of the world's most spectacular hydrothermal features: Old Faithful Geyser, Opal Pool, Turquoise Pool, Excelsior Geyser Crater and Grand Prismatic Spring.
- Jackson: The valley of Jackson Hole offers an exhilarating taste of the old Wild West with snowcapped mountains, generations of elk herd and sky-high pine trees. In the town, take pictures under the famous elk antler arches, stroll the boardwalks and browse boutiques and art galleries.
- Yellowstone National Park: Discover Yellowstone National Park with local artist John Potter who’ll bring to life the complex relationships that exist in nature. Growing up in northern Wisconsin, Potter developed a love for the Natural World early on and learned many of the traditions of his Anishinaabe (Ojibwe/Chippewa) ancestors. After he was drawn to the arts in childhood, Potter spent 20 years as an award-winning illustrator for a large Montana newspaper before painting landscapes and wildlife full time in 2002. Potter has since made his home in the Greater Yellowstone region and has developed a special relationship with the land and all its inhabitants. You’ll love experiencing the park guided by Potter’s special connection to the land.
