We experience the best the North West of England has to offer at this festive time of year, with time to admire some of Cheshire’s most scenic villages as well as the county’s capital of Chester, one of Britain’s best-preserved historic cities. With fun-filled light entertainment and a traditional Christmas lunch also included at our hotel, this is a wonderful way to spend Christmas.
We’ll stay at a well-appointed JG2 rating hotel in the North West area. The comfortable rooms are en suite and other facilities include a bar and restaurant.

Christmas Eve – Scenic Cheshire Villages
We begin the day with a drive through some of Cheshire’s most picturesque villages, set against the county’s rolling countryside.
In the evening, attend Midnight Mass if you wish (transfer not included) and then enjoy mince pies and mulled wine back at the hotel.
Christmas Day is a lovely day of leisure at our hotel, including a traditional Christmas lunch with all the trimmings, Christmas cake with tea and coffee as well as a light buffet dinner.
Boxing Day – Chester
Boxing Day brings a visit to Chester, where the sights span the centuries. Wander through the streets of black and white timber-framed buildings and double-height shops and admire the festive decorations, or visit the remains of the city’s Roman Amphitheatre. Chester also has a thriving shopping centre with a host of cafés, restaurants and pubs to tempt you.
After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and head for home.
You will have the option to book your own flights independently with the operator.
