The Pilgrims’ Road to Santiago (by Air)

This unforgettable journey across northern Spain features part of the ancient pilgrimage route to the city of Santiago de Compostela, where the tomb of St James was discovered in the 9^th century. Every year, thousands of pilgrims set out on foot, by bike, or even on horseback to experience this well-trodden path. Our coach itinerary gives us the opportunity to explore many of the beautiful and historic cities, towns and villages on this famous route in comfort, with the option to enjoy leisurely walks along parts of the Camino de Santiago (the Way of St James). With scenic landscapes and fascinating heritage to discover, this promises to be an experience of a lifetime.

We’ll stay in a selection of hotels, such as the Silken Indautxu in Bilbao, the Corona de Castilla in Burgos, the Silken Luis in Leon, the Ciudad de Ponferrada in Ponferrada, the Eurostars San Lazaro in Santiago and the Soho Boutique Palacio de Pombo. Each hotel features comfortable en-suite rooms as well as a bar and restaurant.
