Grand Hotel, Scarborough

JG2 rating

A Scarborough landmark, the Grand Hotel is an impressive Victorian building overlooking the harbour and South Bay. Rooms are functional and comfortable with en-suite facilities, tea and coffee-making facilities and a TV. Meals may be buffet style.

Royal Hotel, Scarborough

JG2 rating

The Royal Hotel is set in a grand period building, overlooking South Bay and just 500 metres from Scarborough’s seafront. Hotel facilities include a bar and restaurant plus a leisure club with indoor pool, sauna and gym (small charge applies for leisure facilities). Meals are buffet style.

Crown Spa Hotel, Scarborough

JG4 rating

The Crown Spa Hotel is a modern and tastefully decorated hotel spread over four floors and is the oldest purpose-built hotel in the coastal resort of Scarborough. With many of the original architectural features still on display, the hotel is a prominent building on the Esplanade. The Crown Spa Hotel features a luxury leisure centre with indoor swimming pool, a spa and a restaurant. All rooms are en-suite with free Wi-Fi, and tea and coffee-making facilities.

Please note: Leisure facilities may open on reduced hours over the festive period, and light entertainment will take place on some evenings at the Crown Spa Hotel.

JG2 rating

Hotels with a JG2 rating are a mixture of larger hotels and privately owned properties. Décor and furnishings may be simple but are clean and well maintained. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities, TV and may have tea/coffee making facilities. Food may be buffet style in some of the larger hotels. Services may be limited but efficient.

JG4 rating

Accommodation in our JG4 category is of an even higher standard, typically offering a wide range of facilities and services. Bedrooms are designed to make your stay the most comfortable possible and the staff provide a service that reflects the detail and quality. You can also expect higher standards of food and beverages.
