Haworth 1940s Celebration

Nowhere does nostalgia quite like the Haworth 1940s Celebration! Perfectly capturing that famous ‘keep calm and carry on’ Blitz spirit, this quaint Yorkshire village is transformed to commemorate this iconic time in British history. Jive music and rousing Winston Churchill speeches fill the bunting-adorned streets, revellers arrive dressed up to the nines in their traditional wartime costumes and historical reenactments, vintage car displays and live bands all come together to create a wonderful atmosphere. So ladies, get ready to dust off your A-Line skirts and red lipstick, and gents, dig out those knitted vests and Homburg hats, and let’s do the Lindy Hop!
