California is well-known for its Mediterranean-like climate and varied landscapes, and this all-encompassing west coast tour takes you through the Napa Valley wine region, to beautiful Lake Tahoe, and across the rugged Sierra Nevada mountain range. Explore a trio of coastal cities – San Diego, San Francisco and Los Angeles, with sightseeing tours included, and take a scenic train journey along the Pacific coast.

As you travel, experience the must-visit destinations of Yosemite Valley, Palm Springs, and Joshua Tree National Park, plus spend two nights on the iconic Las Vegas Strip. <p>Embark on a long but scenic journey east to Lake Tahoe (200 miles, four hours), heading through the Sacramento River Valley. Lake Tahoe is the second deepest lake in the USA, straddling the state line between California and Nevada. Take a ride on the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, ascending two and a half miles along and over Chino Canyon in Mt. San Jacinto State Park.
