Then we cross the border into Bosnia with a visit to the village Pocitelj on the way to Mostar, a historic town with a unique blend of Ottoman and Balkan architecture. Our local guide on our adventure holiday to Bosnia will show us all the highlights of Mostar, including the famous Stari bridge, which was destroyed during the Bosnian war, but it’s now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a symbol for peace and reconciliation. We’ll experience some of the best landscapes in Bosnia with an invigorating hike in Blidinje Nature Park.

Then we explore the capital of Sarajevo whilst tasting some local delicacies, take a cable car ride to the top of Trebevic mountain and see the abandoned bobsled track from the 1984 Winter Olympics. We’ll see the impressive cluster of hills in Visoko, which locals call the ‘Bosnian pyramids’, enjoy the serenity of Blagaj by the Buna Springs and visit the Medjugorje pilgrimage. Our final activity before heading home and to get more of a taste of Croatia will be a sightseeing tour of Split.
